A 255-Year-Old Tree Damaged

Winds blowing through Winnsboro on Monday were strong enough to blow a branch off a tree older than the United States. Tiffany Tillema of Winnsboro says the tree has been in her backyard for about 255 years, and Texas A&M agrees. The dangling limb was waiting on her when she got home from work. Tillema named the tree Sam, a timeless name for the old oak tree.
