Riley Green tells the website Cowboys & Indians that writing his own songs is what he’s most proud of. “The thing I’m most proud of about me is that I do write my own songs. It’s a whole lot easier to relate to people that can relate to my music because I came up with it. A lot of the stuff I actually lived and went through.”

Scotty McCreery tells The Southern that all of his new music is about his life since American Idol. “I’ve lived a lot of life since my last record. I moved out on my own. I traveled across the country and the world. I got engaged and married. I was dropped from my label. I was even robbed at gunpoint. So I really wanted this album to show what’s going on in my life, and I think we accomplished that.
Luke Combs tells Forbes magazine that he has no backup career. “I am doing what I would be doing anyway. I would be doing [music] in some capacity, whether I was known or a complete nobody.”
Jordan Davis tells The Red & Black that his love of music started with his father.“My first experiences with music were with my dad. I remember we had a deer camp outside of my hometown and every time we drove to the camp my dad would play his records, some of which included artists like John Prine, Cat Stevens, and Jim Croce. I heard those songs as a kid and didn’t know what they were talking about exactly, but I was still very drawn to them. These were my first experiences with songwriters, but I didn’t know it was something I wanted to do full-time until college.”

A source tells the website that he is thinking about proposing. “He has been thinking about the perfect ring, the perfect timing, whether or not he will get on one knee and the perfect wording to ask Gwen to spend the rest of her life with him. Blake has been thinking about all of it and is excitedly waiting for the most romantic moment to change their lives forever. Blake and Gwen have definitely discussed marriage and how they would plan their wedding, but the fact that Gwen isn’t pressuring Blake one bit to rush into things only makes him want to marry her that much more.”
