AAA: Gas Prices Soar Ten Cents

Triple-A Texas reports the average price for regular unleaded in North Texas has jumped by a dime to $2.47. Analysts say it’s a matter of supply and demand. This is the time of year that refineries switch over to the more expensive summer blend gasoline. Prices are expected to continue upwards through June and July, level off and then start to drop after Labor Day.
