Aaron Parker Recognizes ‘Million Word’ Readers


Recognized for reading one million words or more this school year, beginning front row left, are Aaron Parker Elementary students Laramy Smith and Kahijah Joudeh; the second row, Alaina Still, Colton Baker, and Ryder Anderson; and back row, Colby Peek, Landon Cunningham, and Ty Shannon.

The top readers at Aaron Parker Elementary were recognized at a luncheon for hitting the books this school year and reading over a million words each.

Two fifth graders, Colby Peek and Landon Cunningham each read four million words.  Reading two million words were fifth graders Alaina Still, Ty Shannon, and Ryder Anderson.  One million word readers were fifth-grader Laramy Smith, fourth-grader Khadija Joudeh, and third-grader Colton Baker.
