Abbott Delivers Bad News for Bar Owners

The governor had bad news for bar owners in Texas. The latest COVID update didn’t bode well for reopening them anytime soon. One bad number is the state’s COVID positivity rate, which is nearly 24-percent. That’s something Abbott says that will have to drop significantly before he can even consider reopening bars. When the governor reopened bars in May COVID took up around 15-hundred hospital beds. Today we’re at over 7-thousand.
