Abbott Maintains Small Lead Over O’Rourke

On Wednesday, the Quinnipiac University poll of likely voters in Texas showed that Governor Abbott continues to maintain a seven-point lead over Democrat challenger Beto O’Rourke. Republicans support Abbott 96% to 3%, while Democrats support O’Rourke 96% to 4%. Among independents, 53 percent support Abbott, while 46% support O’Rourke.
