This week marks the first anniversary of Winter Storm Uri, which cut power to much of Texas, and led to some 250 deaths statewide. Governor Abbott says changes made to power generators would prevent that from happening again. The state legislature ordered power generators to winterize their plants and delay maintenance before a storm. That led to Texas having 15% more electricity during this latest storm.
