Abbott Suspends Part Of Open Meetings Act

Gov. Greg Abbott suspended a part of the Texas Open Meetings Act. The requirement of a physical gathering space for people to attend the city council, commissioners’ courts, school boards, and other entities and ask questions has been temporarily suspended.
