Arlington Boy Accused Of School Shootings Used Shotgun

A 15-year-old boy allegedly used a long gun in a shooting Monday morning that killed a classmate and wounded another outside Arlington Lamar High School. Family members of Ja’Shawn Poirier, 16, identified him as the victim in Monday’s shooting outside the high school. The Medical Examiner said Poirier received a shot in the head and chest with a shotgun. Officials charged the juvenile suspect with capital murder.
