Active Flu Season Predicted For Texas

Doctors are expecting a more “active” flu season this fall. Dr. Jason McKnight with the Texas A&M College of Medicine says last year’s flu season was mild because people were taking steps to prevent the spread of Covid-19. He says many people have returned to their normal activities this fall to give the flu virus more opportunities to spread. He’s urging people to get the flu vaccine.
