Aggies Fire FB Coach Jimbo Fisher

Texas A&M University fired Head Football Coach Jimbo Fisher on Sunday morning, a move that sets the record for coaching contract buyouts. They expect the move to cost the school more than $76 million. A&M will owe Fisher $19.2 million within 60 days and then pay him $7.2 million annually through 2031. Aggies Athletic Director Ross Bjork said the football program was “stuck in neutral.”
