Aikin Elementary Helps Feed Habitat For Humanity

Aikin Elementary, through its staff’s dedicated efforts, is excited to be a part of Habitat for Humanity’s mission to help Marie Hill, our esteemed lead custodian, secure a new home. Every Saturday, our staff members take turns providing lunch for the volunteers working at Marie’s home, demonstrating their unwavering support for this cause.

They anticipate around 20 volunteers each Saturday, but Marion Hutchison, the director at Habitat for Humanity, keeps them updated on any changes to the schedule and the number of volunteers expected as each Saturday approaches.

By providing lunch, Aikin staff aims to show appreciation for the volunteers’ hard work and dedication. Together, they can significantly impact Marie Hill’s life and contribute to the community’s spirit of giving and support.
