The American League representative will have home field advantage in the 2016 World Series thanks to the AL All-Stars 4-2 win last night over the NL All-Stars in the Mid-Summer Classic. It was the Kansas City Royals providing the pop as Kansas City 1st baseman Eric Hosmer and Catcher Salvador Perez each had a home run and two RBI. Hosmer was named the All-Star MVP. Cleveland Indians pitcher and Dallas Native Corey Kluber picked up the win on the mound. Meanwhile, Texas Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels threw one scoreless inning in the 3rd. The Rangers return to action on Friday against the Chicago Cubs.

Stage 12 of the Tour De France will take place today.
