Sounds Like Nashville claims Blake Shelton is going to open another one of his Ole Red restaurants in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He released a statement saying; “Gatlinburg is one of my all-time favorite places. That’s what Ole Red is all about, and I can’t wait to give my fans another place to have fun in Gatlinburg.”

Scotty McCreery tells CMT that he had a lot to live up to after American Idol. ”American Idol painted me out to be some holier than thou, a good kid who’s never messed up a day in his life and that’s a lot to live up to. But to a lot of folks, that’s who they see you as. It’s something as simple as drinking a cold beer. I’d hide that from everybody. But that’s me. I enjoy it and if grandma Sue is a fan of Idol and doesn’t like it, then that’s all good. But you can’t stray away from who you are. And you’ve got to be yourself, and you’re going to make mistakes and keep on going.”

Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren were recently skiing when she crashed into some trees. Thomas jokingly started filming her. Lauren cried out for help. She is okay.

Darius Rucker tells CBS that his success in country music is due to his mother. “I wouldn’t have made it in country music, I wouldn’t have made it in any kind of music if my mom wasn’t the person she was and taught me always be humble and always work hard. And, you know, ‘You’re not that great! You know, and just go out and do what you’re supposed to do.’ And those lessons still stick with me to this day.”
