Because of accidents, including fatalities, TxDOT has installed a 4-way stop at the intersection of Hwy 11 and FM 69 in Como. A study is also underway to determine if a speed limit reduction is needed. In addition, TxDOT plans to widen South Highway 11 between Farm Road 69 North and South to include a continuous two-way lefthand turning lane.
