A&M-Commerce Announces Decision to Change Name of Lake, Library

At Texas A&M University-Commerce System Board of Regents, last week approved two new names. The main library building and the small lake on the west side of campus, both previously named after former university president James Gilliam Gee, have been named in honor of two African-American students who played historical roles in the university’s desegregation. They announced the change last Thursday.
