Amber Guyger Trial: Day Four

The murder trial of former Dallas Police Department Officer Amber Guyger is entering its fourth day. The Judge in the trial will not allow certain testimony from a lead investigator. Texas Ranger David Armstrong said, outside the presence of the jury, that he doesn’t believe Guyger committed a crime. Prosecutor Jason Hermus says Armstrong’s “opinion” is not beneficial to the jury. ​Judge Tammy Kemp ruled that Armstrong cannot testify about that opinion or about where he thinks Botham Jean was in the apartment when he was shot.
