Amtrak And Canadian Pacific RR Reach Agreement

Amtrak and the freight railway company Canadian Pacific have announced an agreement formalizing Canadian Pacific’s support of Amtrak’s expansion of passenger rail service in the Midwest and the South. The proposed route would connect Dallas/Fort Worth to Atlanta, GA, making stops in Mineola, Longview, and Marshall and through northern Louisiana and central Mississippi.
