Another COVID Death Reported In Hopkins County

The Department of State Health Services reports another Hopkins County resident has died of COVID-19. That brings the total fatalities from the virus to 27, with four deaths reported last week and nine of those deaths this month. Hopkins County-Sulphur Springs Emergency Management reported 15 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of positives since testing began to 600. In the last report, there were 184 active cases of the virus and eight patients in the COVID Unit at Christus Mother Frances Hospital Sulphur Springs.
