Appeal Denied For NE Texas Child Killer

The Sixth Court of Appeals has upheld the life sentence given to a northeast Texas man. Bowie County convicted 27-year-old Michael Darius Moore of killing his ex-girlfriend’s two-year-old son, KaDerious King, in July 2017. Moore based his appeal on the fact that the Medical Examiner who testified at his trial was not the examiner who did the autopsy on the toddler.
