Appeal For Amber Guyger Set For Tuesday

A Dallas court will hear the murder appeal of Amber Guyger Tuesday, April 27. The former cop was convicted of murder and sentenced to ten years in prison for killing a man after she went to the wrong apartment. Botham Jean was in his apartment when Guyger opened fire. During the trial, prosecutors said Guyger had options other than the use of deadly force, even if she had gone to the wrong apartment by mistake. They do not expect a ruling for months.
