Appeal Hearing Continues In Kaufman Co. Prosecutors Convicted Murderer Williams

Testimony is underway in an appeals hearing of  the conviction and death sentence for former Kaufman Justice of the Peace Eric Williams. He was convicted of murdering Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife in March of 2013. Williams claims there was a secret deal between prosecutors and his ex-wife. The defense also claims Williams’ trial attorney, Maxwell Peck, was not effective.
