Appeals Court Denies Campbell Woman’s Bid For New Trial

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has turned down the appeal of a Campbell woman sentenced to 42 years in prison in connection with the death of two-year-old Brandon Herrera. Gabriella Ortiz had pleaded guilty in Hunt County to Injury to a Child by Omission causing serious bodily injury.
