Appeals Court To Review Campbell Woman’s Conviction

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals will receive the case December 20 of a Campbell woman sentenced to 42 years in prison in connection with the death of two-year-old Brandon Herrera. Gabriela Ortiz had pleaded guilty to injury to a child by omission causing serious bodily injury. The victim was her cousin’s child.
