Appellate Court Denies Hooks Man’s Case

The Sixth Court of Appeals in Texarkana has upheld the conviction and life without parole sentence of a Northeast Texas man. A Bowie County jury found 35-year-old David Anthony Turney, of Hooks, guilty of continuously sexually abusing a girl less than 14 years old between 2015 and 2017.
