Area Man Jailed For Interfering With Flight Attendant

An East Texas man was taken into custody for allegedly attacking a flight attendant on a trip from Florida to Dallas. Greenville’s 24-year-old Colby Isaac Hlleary left his seat shortly after takeoff and ran to the front of the plane. He told the attendant that “the plane is going the wrong way” and there were no pilots on the plane. He then told the attendant the flight had been hijacked and attacked the attendant. The plane made an emergency landing in Tampa Bay and Hlleary was arrested.
