Area Schools Are Planning Without Knowing

Area schools are feeling their way through the dark without a flashlight on opening this fall. Some are listing several scenarios to have a game plan in place without knowing what will happen. Most will present their school calendar to their school boards with potential COVID make-up days of 13. Some already have another 4.5 days of extra minutes, allowing a three-week closure with minimal impact. The days are in case there is a complete shutdown.
