Area Students Attend Red River Valley Fair

Students in the ECC kindergarten and first grade class at Higgins Elementary hold their ears during a saw demonstration at the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show.

Extra attention given to students with special needs

The Red River Valley Special Needs Day at the Fair brought students from all over Lamar County Friday morning. Planned activities included a clown show, the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and rides on the carousel. Each student was served a corny dog and drink.

Higgins Elementary ECC Pre-K student Kaidyn Rios was the winner of the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack chair at the Red River Valley Special Needs Day at the Fair.
