Area Teacher Charged With Child Porn Violations

A Collin County teacher has been arrested for possession of child pornography. Dante Schmidt, 41, was taken into custody without incident at his home in Allen and reportedly confessed to investigators. Schmidt taught English at Lake Highlands High School in Richardson ISD.
