Area Woman Guilty Of Tax Fraud

A Hunt County woman has pleaded guilty in federal court to tax fraud. 39 year old Lourdes Ramirez prepared taxes under the names TxASAP Tax Services and Fiesta Tax Services in Greenville. She will be sentenced in December and faces a maximum of 3 years in prison, fines and probation. The fraud reportedly caused  a loss to the IRS of $1.15 million dollars.
