Christopher Lee Price
On Sunday, May 15, 2022, shortly after 10:30 pm, Deputies responded to Nuway East Convenience Store about a robbery that had just occurred. A man with a face-covering came into the store and displayed part of a gun tucked in the waistband. The man demanded the money from the cash register be taken out and placed in a money box on the store’s counter.
The man exited the store and fled the scene. Multiple camera angles caught the robbery from the store surveillance. They identified the suspect by his voice and the clothes he was wearing by various persons as 35-year-old Cooper resident Christopher Lee Price.
Deputies conducted a search warrant of Mr. Price’s home throughout the investigation, and they recovered corroborating evidence items tying Mr. Price to the robbery.
Officials issued an Aggravated Robbery warrant for Mr. Price and arrested him on Friday, May 20, 2022, on said warrant. Officers booked him into the Delta County Jail, where Mr. Price is held on a $150,000 bond for a Felony One charge of Aggravated Robbery pending trial.
