Arrest Warrant Issued for Former Pushmataha County Deputy

An arrest warrant has been issued for former 29-year-old Pushmataha County Deputy Jason Day. He was fired after he allegedly made up a story about being involved in a pursuit and gunfight in neighboring McCurtain County. He’s been charged with False Reporting of a Crime, Obstructing an Officer and Malicious Injury to Property. Mr. Day had allegedly fired numerous shots into his patrol vehicle.
