Arson Suspect Arrested

Officers with the Grand Saline Police Department arrested suspect John Larry Baird, 36, in connection with a fire that destroyed a home and caused explosions Thursday morning. He is in Van Zandt County Jail on a felony arson charge. Fire Chief Jeremy Barker said no one was home, and nobody was injured.
