Governor Abbott is suspending elective surgeries in four more Texas counties.
The Governor suspends elective operations at hospitals in Cameron, Hidalgo, Nueces, and Webb counties. The Governor says it’s to help ensure hospital bed availability for COVID- 19 patients in these communities. It amends the Governor’s previous executive order, which already suspends elective surgeries in Dallas, Harris, Bexar, and Travis.
