MEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Zach Mitchell, So., Hardin-Simmons

Hardin-Simmons sophomore Zach Mitchell (Mansfield, Texas) ran an 8K mark of 27:44.0 to win the Naimadu Classic White Division in Abilene, Texas, on Saturday. His performance led the Cowboys to a team win as well. 

WOMEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Brittany Acosta, Jr., Hardin-Simmons

Hardin-Simmons junior Brittany Acosta (Fort Worth, Texas) won the Naimadu Classic White Division hosted by Abilene Christian. She ran a 6K time of 24:47.3, helping the Cowgirls to a team win.

Belhaven senior Javarcea Thomas (McCarley, Miss.) posted an 8K time 30:33.3 to lead the Blazers at the Mississippi College Watson Invitational.
