Belhaven freshman Will Justice (Carrollton, Texas) placed 15th at the Crusader Fall Invitational in Hattiesburg, Miss. With a +13 79-78=157.
CO-WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Brooke Hinerman, So., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons sophomore Brooke Hinerman (Mansfield, Texas) tied for first with a single round 79 at the Lady Crusader Stonetree Invitational in Killeen, Texas. It was the first tournament win of Hinerman’s career, despite the temperatures in the 40s and wind chills below freezing.
CO-WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Jade Ming, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore Jade Ming (Lynden, Wash.) also tied for first with a +7 79 at the Lady Crusader Stonetree Invitational. The Cru also won their fourth team title, while Ming won her first career individual medalist honor. It is Ming’s second career Golfer of the Week award.
