EAST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Devon Washington, Sr., C, Louisiana College
Louisiana College senior center Devon Washington (Houston, Texas) averaged a double-double with 26.5 points and 12.0 rebounds as the Wildcats picked up a pair of wins. He shot 57.6 percent (19-of-33) from the floor in the two games. In the 85-80 win at Hardin-Simmons, Washington led all scorers with 30 points and added 14 rebounds. He then put in 23 points with 10 boards in a 70-60 victory at McMurry.
WEST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ephriam Price III, Sr., G, Concordia Texas
Concordia Texas senior guard Ephriam Price III (Lake Charles, La.) set a career-high with 37 points in a 97-95 loss to East Texas Baptist, knocking down five three-pointers in the game. He scored 30 of the Tornados’ 47 second-half points against the Tigers. Price scored 16 points with five boards and five steals in an 87-82 win against LeTourneau on Thursday. For the week, he averaged 26.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game for his fourth career Player of the Week.

EAST DIVISION
UT Dallas junior forward/center Hans Burwitz (Allen, Texas) averaged a double-double with 10.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per games in the Comets’ conference road split. He had 15 points and 10 boards, going 7-for-11 from the floor Thursday in an 83-50 win at Sul Ross State. Burwitz added six points and 13 rebounds in a road loss at Howard Payne Saturday.
LeTourneau junior guard Nate West (Houston, Texas) led the YellowJackets with 27.5 points per game to go with 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals as they split their opening weekend of conference play. After pouring in 27 points with six rebounds in an 87-82 loss to Concordia Texas, he nearly recorded a triple-double with 28 points, nine boards and eight assists in an 87-82 victory at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
East Texas Baptist junior guard Robby Dooley (Bossier City, La.) averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as the Tigers split to open conference play. He scored 30 points in a 98-95 loss at Mary Hardin-Baylor, going 11-of-13 from the floor, knocking down a trio of three-pointers and pulling down seven rebounds. In a 97-95 win at Concordia Texas, Dooley was 7-of-10 from the field en route to 21 points with six boards. He hit two baskets in the final 1:22 of the game to maintain the Tiger lead.
UT Tyler freshman guard Chris Craig (Denton, Texas) averaged 14.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 75 percent (18-of-24) from the field as the Patriots went 3-0 on the week.
Ozarks sophomore forward Tim Turpin (Cypress, Texas) scored in double figures in each of the Eagles’ two losses. He averaged 11.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game and was 3-for-3 from three-point range and 9-for-11 (81.8 percent) from the field.
WEST DIVISION
McMurry junior guard Zacc Carter (Dallas, Texas) scored a career-high 35 points a 105-100 double-overtime win against Belhaven, shooting 10-for-17 from the field and 11-of-15 from the line. He also added 18 points in a 97-92 victory at Southwestern. For the week, Carter averaged 21.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game as the War Hawks went 2-1.
Howard Payne senior guard Shadd Cole (Stephenville, Texas) led the Yellow Jackets with 17.6 points to go with 5.6 rebounds per game as they went 2-1. Cole scored a career-high 29 points in a 73-71 victory against Centenary, then followed with 18 points in a 69-65 home win against UT Dallas.
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior forward Brian Long (San Bernardino, Calif.) averaged 18.0 points, and 6.7 rebounds per game as the Cru went 2-1 on the week. He shot 56 percent (20-of-36) from the field and posted three steals on the week.

EAST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Raenett Hughes, So., G, UT Dallas
UT Dallas sophomore guard Raenett Hughes (College Station, Texas) averaged 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per outing as the No. 17/22 Comets swept both conference games on the road. Hughes scored 16 points and added nine rebounds in Thursday’s 62-37 win at Sul Ross State. She then had 15 points, 12 boards, and six assists in a 73-58 win at Howard Payne on Saturday to earn her second career Player of the Week award.
WEST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Kendall Rollins, Jr., G, Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior guard Kendall Rollins (Fulshear, Texas) led the No. 23/25 Cru to three wins, averaging 16.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game while going 8-for-11 from three-point range and shooting 50 percent (17-of-34) from the field. Rollins had 23 points and seven rebounds in an 87-74 win over No. 9/10 East Texas Baptist to earn her third career Player of the Week honors.

She recorded her first double-double of the year with 17 points and 11 rebounds in a loss at Hardin-Simmons, then had 12 points in a 73-67 win at McMurry.
East Texas Baptist junior guard Kendrick Clark (Georgetown, Texas) posted 21 points and eight rebounds for the No. 9/10 Tigers in a loss at No. 23/25 Mary Hardin-Baylor, then had 15 points in a 68-53 win at Concordia Texas. For the week, she averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game.
Belhaven senior forward Lauren Brooks (Jackson, Miss.) averaged 13.5 points, and 12.5 rebounds per game as the Blazers split in conference play. She led BU with 21 points and 11 rebounds in a 77-74 loss at McMurry, then pulled down 14 boards in a 68-60 overtime victory at Hardin-Simmons.
Ozarks senior guard Savannah Kate Smith (Perryville, Ark.) paced the Eagles with 16.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting 92.3 percent (12-of-13) at the line as they went 1-1 on the week.
UT Tyler junior guard Carissa Spiker (Sanger, Texas) recorded 19.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as the Patriots defeated Texas Lutheran on the road and Ozarks at home.
WEST DIVISION
Howard Payne sophomore guard Chelsey Harris (Waco, Texas) averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game as the Yellow Jackets went 1-1 on the week. She scored a team-high 15 points in a 77-63 win at Schreiner.
Concordia Texas junior guard Kaycie Dunkerley (Azle, Texas) produced a game-high 28 points with four rebounds in a 73-60 win against LeTourneau, then had 15 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to No. 9/10 East Texas Baptist. For the week, she averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
