“It was an awesome week at the NL football camp,” said North Lamar Athletic Director Aaron Emeyabbi. “These young men were so much fun and worked hard for the coaches.”
Athletes in third through eighth grades met June 4-7 in the NL Athletic Facility to learn about playing football. The Panther coaches covered everything from football fundamentals, sportsmanship, leadership, character, and manners.
Congratulations to Matthew Sandlin and Dallas Foster on earning camp Most Valuable Players for their age groups. Mathew won all three competitions and Dallas won two out of three in his age group.
“Awesome job guys!” said Emeyabbi.
This week high school athletes meet for the Sports Performance camp that goes until July 26. Kindergarten through sixth-grade students will meet this week in the Athletic Facility for soccer camp.
