Man Sentenced For Livestock Theft

    Jacob Thompson has been sentenced in Hopkins County to 10 years probation theft of livestock from the Sulphur Springs Livestock Auction and 2nd degree felony theft .  He was accused of trying to purchase 400 head of cattle with worthless checks totaling about $300,000.

Greenville Teen Charged With Threatening School

    Greenville police  arrested a 14 year old boy Monday after he allegedly phoned Greenville Middle school and threatened to shoot up the school. The student will be charged with Terrorist Threat, which is a third degree felony. No further details have been released.
