Texas Public Schools Week will officially kickoff Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the PJC Hunt Center. The event is sponsored by Paris Junior College and the Lamar County Coalition of Education, Business and Industry.  Schools from throughout Lamar and Red River counties will participate.

  The City of Paris Compost Site will go back to the regular hours starting tomorrow. The regular hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-4:30pm Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm If the City has a holiday on Friday or Monday, the Compost Site will also be closed
