Authorities Investigate Shooting Near Broken Bow – Deputy Shot

Two men are hospitalized after an officer involved shooting in McCurtain County. Authorities say Game Warden Mike Virgin and Deputy Sheriff Corey Sharrock went to a home near Broken Bow and were met by gunfire. Deputy Sharrock was shot just below his bullet proof vest,  but returned fire and shot  “hit and run” suspect Charles Dwayne Brown in the arm. Both are listed in stable condition.
