Autopsy Results For East Texas Woman Found In Freezer

Preliminary autopsy results have been released in connection to the death of an East Texas woman whose body was found inside a freezer in an outbuilding behind her home. Smith County deputies say 78 year old Frances Barton died of a single gunshot wound to the head. Barton was found after her son, Kenneth Barton, was involved in a standoff with multiple law enforcement agencies. His body was found in the remains of his burned down home after the standoff.
