Bailey JUMP Groups Take Off

Bailey’s Tape It Up Group decorates ceiling tiles and makes things like wallets, bottle holders and games out of Duct Tape.

Students build on interests and strengths

North Lamar fourth and fifth-grade students at Bailey Intermediate are participating in JUMP (Journey of Unlocking My Potential) this semester.  The interest-based groups are made up of students and leaders with similar strengths, interests, and goals.

Bailey’s Police Academy Group learns how to fingerprint.

The groups who meet weekly include Police Academy, To Be or Not to Be (Acting), Bailey Idol, Tape It Up (Duct Tape crafts), Lip Dub, So You Think You Can Dance, Watercolor Wonder, Board Games, All Signs Point to Yes (Sign Language), Chess, Doodle Master, Flying Feet (Track), All About Animals and Flag Football.  The campus will hold a JUMP Gallery Walk on March 7 from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. for students to showcase what they have learned.
