Bailey Students Return from Regional Science Fair with Ribbons

Bailey Intermediate fourth- and fifth-graders participated in the Region 8 Science Fair in Pittsburg, Texas, on February 9.  All received ribbons for their entries.

Fourth-grade participants pictured from left are Katie Trammell and Heather Bright.  Trammell’s project was ‘Which Popcorn Pops the Best?’ while Bright presented ‘The Popcorn Challenge’.

Bailey’s fifth-grade participants beginning left are Dalton Echols, Gibson Dyess, Kylie Burchinal and Layla Shafiq.  Projects presented by each student were: ‘Crystal Mania’ by Echols, ‘Can you hear me now?’ by Dyess, ‘The Flammability of Different Children’s Clothing’ by Burchinal and ‘Can hydropower be used to lift household objects?’ by Shafiq.
