Bank Holdup Leads To School Lockdown

Someone held up the BancorpSouth branch on Hwy 11 in Tom Bean about 8:30 Friday morning. The Tom Bean High School and Junior High, across the street from the bank, were immediately placed on lockdown. The holdup suspect was described as a white male, about six feet tall, wearing a black baseball cap and a camo gaiter mask. The FBI has joined the investigation.
