Bi-Partisan Group Launches Initiative To Reduce Oklahoma’s Incarceration Rate

A bipartisan group has launched a new initiative to reduce Oklahoma’s high incarceration rate. The group, made up of business, political and religious leaders, filed a constitutional ballot initiative Tuesday that would prohibit prosecutors from using previous felony convictions to enhance sentences in nonviolent cases.
