Bill Proposing Pittsburg Be Named “Hot Link Capital”

State Representative Cole Hefner has introduced a bill in the State House of Representatives designating Pittsburg the “Hot Link” capital of Texas. Pittsburg has been known as the premier source of the sausages called hot links for the past 120 years. The tradition began in 1887 when Charlie Hasselback brought his recipe for hot links from Germany to Camp County.
