Lawmakers proposed a bill in the Oklahoma State Legislature that would legalize sports betting. State Rep. Ken Luttrell, who introduced the bill, said that if approved, the state’s share of proceeds from the wagering would be between $200 and $250 million, creating 3,000 jobs. Also, if the bill becomes law, the tribes that operate the state’s casinos would have to see how and if it would benefit them.
