Blake The Father Plus New Chesney Music In Today’s Country News

Hollywoodlife.com claims Blake Shelton would love to become a father. A source tells the website; “Blake has fallen in love with Gwen’s kids and has a complete blast with them. He, of course, would love to be a father of his own but he is also a little scared about doing it as well. He is currently content with being a stepdad and is happy in that role. The only thing that would make things different is if Gwen wanted to try having a baby with him, then Blake would be completely on board. He is not going to pressure her one bit but if she wants another, he will be glad the one to try, and his hopes would be to have a boy. But the decisions on all of that are on Gwen and he is going to keep it that way.”

Kenny Chesney’s new song, ”Get Along”, will be released on April 6th. He released a statement saying; “Some days, it’s like the world is just angry, screaming people, [who are] all harping on what’s wrong, how other people are awful. The more I move around, talking to people, though, the more I know people are seeking the same things, working hard to get by and hoping for the best for their family and friends. It’s simple, but we keep getting driven apart—and made unhappily. When I heard this song, beyond how good the rhythm felt, I was amazed how simply they broke all this stuff down. Get along . . . find the common ground . . . know the basic stuff is where the joy, the love, the happiness is.”

Country Music Tattle Tale claims Rascal Flatts is opening another restaurant location. They have filed papers to open in Boise, Idaho. Permits have also been filed for additional restaurants in St Louis, Orlando, Chicago, and Pittsburgh.

Brett Young tells Sounds like Nashville that his next album may have hints of R&B. “I grew up listening to soul music and R&B music. So, it won’t be melodic and it won’t be lyric, but there’ll be some production stuff where you can hear a little bit of a throwback thing. That’s what my parents played at my house growing up. That was very impressionable for me growing up as a music fan. The songs are similar.”

Country Fancast claims Maren Morris became only the sixth artist in Billboard history to top both the Country charts and the Pop charts. Her single with Zedd, The Middle, is currently the number one pop song in America. The Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, Tim McGraw, Pink and Taylor Swift are the other artists, who have topped both charts.

Jason Aldean tells CMT that he is still recovering from the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting that killed 58 people. “It’s still tough every day, and you think about it. But you never think that’s something you have to deal with, and when you do, you deal with it the best you can, try and recover and move forward. Britt and I were there together and so her and I lean on each other for that stuff. My mom, my dad, my sister, and people like that weren’t there. More than anything, we were already a pretty tight family, but I think it brought us closer in a lot of ways, too.”
