Blake’s Pop-Up Concert In Today’s Nashville Roundup

The Tennessean claims Blake Shelton held a surprise pop-up concert at his Nashville restaurant and bar on Wednesday night. The show was a warm-up for his upcoming tour. Blake jokingly slammed Luke Bryan when he said; “I don’t think Luke Bryan did this at his bar. What a dump. It’s just a bunch of bro-country playing over there. I’m just kidding.”

Scotty McCreery was recently performing in concert when he covered Garth Brooks’ “If Tomorrow Never Comes.” He has also been covering “The Dance”.

One Country claims Dan + Shay star Shay Mooney recently wished his son Asher a Happy Birthday with the following post; “ I can’t believe it’s been 2 years already…Happy Birthday, Asher James ?? You’ve been your momma and I’s greatest adventure. There are not enough words to describe how incredible it is to be your dad. I’m so proud to carry that title. Out of all the people in the world, God chose us to have the most loving, sweet, gentle, giving, perfect soul to be ours. It’s been the greatest two years of our lives and there’s many more to come. You’re the best pieces of both of us.”

Riley Green tells Cowboys & Indians magazine that his writing inspiration comes from growing up in Alabama. “I’m really close to my family. I’m from Alabama and kind of proud of my little area that I’m from down there, the small town I grew up in. A lot of that comes out in my writing. It’s one of those things where prior to coming to Nashville and co-writing, it was just something that happened or every day, just riding down the road, maybe I’d think of something. I didn’t really write with much of a purpose in the sense of I was never writing, thinking I’d have this on the radio or thinking that I’d sign a record deal. I just wrote songs that I thought people who would come to my shows would like.”

Thomas Rhett tells Southern Living magazine that he’s been dreaming about bringing his children on tour since he was in high school. “Probably as early as high school, I thought if I had kids and I got to tour one day that I’d want my kids to be a full part of that touring life.”

People magazine claims Jimmie Allen recently celebrated his chart-topping success by taking his son to Disney World.

Maren Morris tells People magazine that she and her husband, Ryan Hurd, are talking about having children. “We have a plan in mind” for when they’ll try for a baby, but not anytime soon!”
